Firenze Card is the card that allows the Renaissance City’s many visitors to enjoy a quality user experience, accessing sites of historical/cultural interest (museums, exhibitions, etc.) and dedicated events in a simple and centralized way. Some of the benefits of Firenze Card include:
- Centralized usability of tourist and cultural services (reservation, discovery and exploration of places of historical-artistic-cultural and environmental interest);
- Flexibility: the platform is customizable to vendor needs and for all types of traveler-users (also thanks to API integrations with vendor systems);
- Accessibility and sustainability: facilitating access to all tourist facilities through the removal of language barriers, promoting places of interest generally excluded from traditional tourist circuits, and reducing the use of paper to zero;
- Security: tourist flows statistics and monitoring system.
The System.
Firenze Card fits within the scope of the “Platform for the Digitization of the Tourism Sector”, an innovative solution designed by Wakala. The solution is widely customizable in functionality and style according to the client’s brand;
This platform consists of a B2C portal, a B2B portal, an app for end users and one for tourism operators. The proposed ecosystem aims to fully cover the renewed digitization needs of such a fundamental sector as tourism, covering both Business and User aspects.
B2C Portal.

Here it is possible to purchase the different cards, which entitle to access a range of services listed on the site; The users can also manage their cards themselves, or receive support from a dedicated customer care team.
Through the B2C Portal you can book your visit to museums and events in the City of Florence area, and subscribe to a newsletter to stay informed about them.
User App.
Besides the Web-side Portal, the user can download the Firenze Card App, a full-effective comprehensive guide at the service of the visitor to the Renaissance City: from the list of contracted services to detail screens with multimedia content, to the points of sale included in the Firenze Card circuit, the app also allows users to “get lost” in the wonders of Florence through a navigation system that alerts the user to nearby points of interest.
Within it you will also be able to access your personal card area.
Tourism Operator App.
Business side, the Operator App enables ticketing management at entrances or service use. The interface is simple and intuitive – to get started, simply choose the institution and place of interest. Through the Operator App it is possible:
- To track and verify entries;
- Perform actions on cards: sale, delivery, verification and replacement;
- To check any vouchers by scanning their bar code, or by manually entering the code.
B2B Portal.
The B2B Portal provides an overview of orders placed, which will be displayed in a list and can be easily managed.
It provides, among its features:
- A Dashboard with overview of orders placed and cards issued;
- Flexible and customizable management of the cards issued, their costs, how they are used, and their duration;
- Voucher management.
